Education System of India | The Inside Culture and English

As the world is growing and moving towards the tip of advancement why is the education in India still stick on the desk and benches with same kind of paper work since British rule. I went on a details study to find out what is the present education system missing and what it presently has,which can be upgraded by using better use of resources and can make the subject discussion look more interesting and demonstrative from the learners perspective.

When on average I asked people What is the Current situation of Education System in India ? or Why are you Educating Yourself ? Most of them said its to get a job and its quit obvious if you get a job one will have financial security, will have good spouse, will have genetically perfect  children and put them into education system and the process continues so, in short the education system is to propagate our species.

To understand Indian Education system I want to  take you way back to its origin in England when Industrial Revolution was in full swing and East India Company has just started its business in India. Back than Ancient India was called a 'Gururashtra' or 'Viswa Guru' which contributed many things to this world. From giving best steel to the world to teaching the world to count. India was actively contributing to the science and technology before the modern era begun. If all of it was going soo good, what just happened that changed the entire culture? 

Its the East India Company. how? At the initial stage of there business in India they were facing trouble in communicating with the Indian public, as back than most of us didn't knew English. And so East India Company called for a person named as Thomas Babington Macaulay, this man was born genius who had an estimated IQ of about 180 to 190. He had a tremendous ability to learn any language within a forth night and so Britisher approached him to visit India and teach the people of India English for that he was paid 10,000 pounds in today's term its half a billion pound. So, this man came to India and stayed roughly for about 4 years, and did not bothered learning a single Indian language went back to the Britain Parliament and on 2th of February,1835 made a very momentous speech which I am not going to quote entirely but I am going to pick up  few lines that summaries the entire spirit of the speech. Macaulay said "It is,I believe, no exaggeration to say that all the historical information which has been collected from all the books written in Sanskrit language is less valuable than what may be found in the most paltry abridgments used at preparatory schools in England.We need to teach Indians English if we do not teach them English they are going to wast there youth touching the cows ass'' and the time comes English education came to India or the English Education Act of 1835. This was done primarily to breach the gap of communication and after this every of our vedic education collapse and now it has reached its extinction.

English is not a language its a class now,a language that states our ability to be called educated and professional. Let me share with you a fascinating story of English with Indian professionals. Its was 4^th of October, 1957, 7:28 pm the Soviet launched the first human satellite in space the Sputnik and hearing this the US lost there mind, immediately they started changing the immigration policy and called for best of scientist, best of doctors, the best of engineers from across the globe. Now the Indians had to decide whether to go with there all time best friend Russian or with America with whom we didn't had a good relation back than. But what happened was most furious most of them ditched there job and went to America reason was English as there will be no communication barrier. The earliest bunch who went to America did quit well and then paved the wave for other professional from India to U S and rest is history!

IIT Delhi

Once an American youth broadcaster introduces the Indian IIT's to its viewers in America it says ''We import oil from Saudi Arabia, Cars from Japan, Television from Korea, and Whisky from Scotland now what do we import from India we import people some really really smart people and all these people seem to share common tendentious, they are all graduate of Indian Institute of Technology or IIT's''. 

Now you know when U S compares something with oil its really really valuable. I just stated this example to make you learn that its not that we are lacking the resources to build ourselves or our education system lacks any of it. Its actually the place where its only provided. Its time that the quality education should no only be provided in IIT's and IIM's it has to come out and made open for everyone in every school and colleges and universities. Every of these institutions should be guided by such meritorious institution like IIT's and IIM's. 

Most of the students don't know Why are they Studying? What they are Studying? they should be made aware of what is the practical use of the subjects they are having by the teachers representing them in the classes. Like learning calculus, trigonometry etc. and not knowing the practical use of it in real life doesn't makes  any sense.

Professional

And mostly importantly the schools and colleges  syllabus that continuous to be same for ages. Like you are taught about Android version Kitkat and world has already started using the Android version Pie. Such kind of issues has to be to be taken care of and monitored by the regulatory board or by the Education Ministry. 

India is the second most populated country in the world, soon going to become the most populated in the world. Its time that technical knowledge along with the regular syllabus should be provided so, that the students passing out of the schools and colleges can at least come and compete with the world as we all know every year there is increase in the rate of educated unemployed in the  country. Every one of us wants a job to get financially secure  certain measures should be taken to employ and engage the educated youths so that one can come out of the depressions and at least  be given a chance to fight for there very existence.
